This is a tried and true method of getting your drains unclogged, without adding harsh chemicals to the environment. I have used this method several times with success (both in sinks and partially clogged toilets). And with only two ingredients, that are always on hand, you may never have to worry about clogged drains again! This works even if the sink is filled with water (you may just have to increase the time it sits)
Ingredients (per sink/ toilet):
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup vinegar
1-2 cups of steaming hot water
1) Pour the baking soda in first, followed by the vinegar. Allow to sit for at least 20 minutes (although you may find that the clog begins to become unclogged earlier on its own). Fill the sink with hot, hot, HOT water, and watch as the drain becomes clear!! Yahoo!
